Well, middle of July already, hey? How time flies when your having fun. And with the sun finally shining on a regular basis things are getting increasingly more fun. The core is steadily coming out of the ground it is busy around camp. Although our core here is not quite as large as what James is bragging about over at Schaft Creek (www.schaftcreek.blogspot.com), it isn’t the size that counts its how you use it.
Two nights ago we set up an evening expedition up to a snow filled cirque for some boot skiing. Nothing like sliding down snow, on the side of a mountain with your feet… and in July. It was a fun time, sure to happen again.
Looks like the program here will run until about the middle of September. We are anticipating that if the creek does not run dry it will freeze or we’ll have snow on the ground by that time. So the plan is to drill until we can’t drill no more.
I wish you all good health.
micheal.

Yeah, our core is bigger, but much heavier when it falls on your boot, so don't feel bad Mikey. Boot skiing looks like so much fun and I love your photos, so tres mining chic. hahhaaa. James and I were playing old school tetris and super mario brother games.....sooo fun. Too bad you stopped talking to us on msn, cause we're pretty interesting people. Well, you missed out on a good thing mister.
Think about what you've done and maybe we'll consider letting you into the triangle of trust,

tres awesome to read some of your experiances. I was always trying yukontrav.blogspot.com. and i thought you never started a blog. stupid me, i forgot the "s"
things in e-town have been strange, living the life of an artist is not what it cracked up to be. sure it is like having your own agenda, do what you will at anytime. however, i find it strange to not have to be somewhere everyday.
i miss people telling me what to do or at the least, set goals FOR me. I find that this gives structure to life.
anyway, i am sure i will be a scientist soon enough, looking back and saying that i miss "time off".
hey on another note:
I have finally started organizing and placing in fotoalbums, the photos from norge et al. all i can say is that i have my favorite photo that i have ever seen of a person portrait, and micheal you are in it.
